About us

Sydney Animal Second-chance Inc. (SAS) rescues pets from pounds in and around Sydney, and also from owners who can no longer keep their pets. At times, we are asked to assist animal welfare organisations when they are at capacity.

Our team are all volunteers and we have a great network of foster carers and helpers. While our team stretches across NSW, our HQ and veterinarian are in the St George area of Sydney.

Our rescue group is a not-for-profit incorporation (CFN 21496) and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. SAS is audited annually and 100% of our donations go towards the care of our rescue pets.
