Sydney Animal Second-chance Inc. (SAS) rescues pets from pounds in and around Sydney, and also from owners who can no longer keep their pets. At times, we assist larger animal welfare organisations to help when there is an overload from raids on backyard breeders and/or puppy farmers.

Our team are all volunteers and we have a great network of foster carers and helpers. While our team stretches far and wide across Sydney and NSW, our HQ and veterinarian are in the St George area.

Our rescue group is a not-for-profit incorporation (CFN 21496) and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. SAS is audited annually and 100% of our donations go towards the care of our rescue pets.
