Donations

SAS is a registered charity (CFN 21496), and as such, 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes towards the care of our rescue pets.

While adoption fees cover the basic cost of desexing, vaccinating, flea and worm control, microchipping and heart-worm testing, many of our rescues initially require additional medical treatments. These costs are only met through the generosity of donations.

Most of our rescues are saved from the various pounds around NSW and from unwanted pets surrendered to us. Over the years we have paid for corrective surgeries, broken bones, and severe dental abscesses. We have treated the symptoms of over-breeding, chronic sores, and serious neglect. We have treated countless cases of kennel cough, cat flu, skin conditions, and ear infections. All of which cost $$$. Our fantastic vet kindly provides their service at a charitable fee, however, we still need to cover the excess cost. That is where donations save the day! We could not do what we do without financial help.
