A big thank you to Penny Marathon for inviting us (as well as our adoptee support team, Herbie and Oden) to take part in the Marathon last Sunday, where they very generously donated $1,000 to us from their proceeds. This will be a huge help towards our large vet bill from the medical needs of the gorgeous animals that came into our care over the last couple of months.
Not only does Penny Marathon raise money to help voiceless animals around the world through hard work and the dedication of volunteers but also support the work of rescues, such as our small rescue and many others around the world. We cannot do enough to support and encourage their efforts whenever and wherever we can.
The sun was shining last Sunday. Herbie and Oden both enjoyed the 6km walk, and being out in the sunshine with the other four legged participants. Herbie and Oden are both looking for their second-chance homes 🐕🐕🙏🤞💜
